What is this?

HD-AdminQuickLinks is an admin module that adds a small button to the header area of all admin pages. The button triggers a pop-up displaying icon links to the main areas of the site you use the most.

What's the point?

By customizing the links you have greater control over the administrator side of your Joomla 4 website. Simplifying the navigation for yourself (and/or your clients) makes the admin process quicker and easier to maintain.

What to do after installing?

Install the zip file via the administration install manager as per any other module. Once it has installed go to the module manager, switch to the admin modules view and select HD-AdminQuickLinks. Enable the module and set it to appear in the module position "status".

What's the point again?

Joomla 4's admin layout is very different from Joomla 3, so for those of us used to the previous horizontal drop-down layout you may find this module helpful for creating your own shortcuts.
